The internet has become a way of purchasing and selling
recently. Fish are one of those items that can be sold and
purchased over the internet. A key element in the buying
and selling of fish over the internet is shipping. The
idea of buying a live fish and having it shipped to you
and have it actually arrive alive and in good shape at an
economical price is the only that an internet market for
live fish would survive. So lets look at how we ship them.
A shipping pot is also known as a shipping box. It is a
shield box that is a necessity throughout any time of year.
As we know that without shield box fish can immobilize
during winter and swelter during summer. Here we can use a
Styrofoam box that contains the water. You can buy it, but
it~s better to make it your own box. For that buy a piece
of Styrofoam in blue stuff that has greater insulating
level. It is more insulated as compared to the white
stuff. Then, get the inside proportions of your cardboard
box and cut it to six pieces so that they may fit
accurately.
In wintertime, it is necessary to put hot packs in with
the water to keep the water and fish at the proper
temperature. To keep the fish warm, the hot packs must
have power for 35 hours of use. Before using the pads you
should warm them up. It can be dangerous for the
fish if they are not packed properly inside the box. Make
sure there is at least a double layer of newspapers
between the box lid and other things stored in the box.
for the fish to arrive in the best condition possible it
is recommended to not pack them up any sooner then is
necessary. to avoid any bad situations for the customer,
here are some packing tips for the fish themselves.
*For more space, use a larger plastic bag than a local
fish store would.
* Use care when putting the fish into the bag. It can
sometimes be quite difficult to place the fish from the
net into the bag. Be sure about your method.
* Tie the top end of the bag immediately bag. Use a rubber
band to make sure the seal is tight. turn the bag over
into a larger bag, and repeat the sealing process. Be
careful about the air element when using betas. As a
safety point here for the fish, pack extra space with a
bag of water, it's better for the fish, even though it
will cost more to ship.
*Marl the fish bag with permanent ink. Black markers are
generally used for this.
